KRANK did not really split. The band
members are just concentrating on other music projects, which namely are
schweres_wasser (guitarpop) and Zwei Tage Sauerstoff (Electro-Doom-Pop).
Although well known as consequent indie-guitar-pop
types KRANK's latest release can be found on KUSCHELPUNK 1 CD-Sampler
"21 Punk Love songs by 21 bands" (e.g. with DIE TOTEN HOSEN,
THE BATES), a cd compilation by Empty
Records.
Some past and present dates somehow
related to the band:

6th June 1997: debut show of MOND (name
now changed into schweres_wasser) at Gebäude 9, Köln-Deutz as
support for PLASTIC LITTLE and DABBLE INSHORE

22nd November 1997: PLASTIC LITTLE and
schweres_wasser play at the Between, Cologne
-
6th November 1998, 8.00 pm: Emphase Split
7" Release Party. Zwei Tage Sauerstoff will be playing at Gebäude
9, Köln-Deutz together with Klangwart, 40 Sekunden ohne Gewicht and
many more.
